Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team in Galway. This role will primarily support the repairs and spares side of the business, ensuring high-quality tooling solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with debug of a multi cavity injection mold tools, surface grinding, and assembly work. Some strong communication skills a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manufacture, modify, and repair precision tools, jigs, and fixtures.

- Support welding, surface grinding, and operations as required.

- Assemble and fit mechanical components with high precision.

- Assist in the maintenance and repair of tooling to ensure minimal downtime.

- Work closely with the team to support the repairs and spares division.

- Provide technical support and guidance to customers when needed.

- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Qualification in Toolmaking, Precision Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a toolmaking or precision engineering environment.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

- Experience in tool repair and maintenance is highly desirable.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills for occasional customer interactions.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
