
Mount Congreve House Volunteers

Volunteers will provide a warm welcome to all visitors and create a positive first impression of Mount Congreve Gardens. In the course of their activities they will:
- Expertly demonstrate complete knowledge of the attractions, facilities, and exhibitions and be able to convey information regarding other visitor attractions locally.
- Support all Front of House team members to achieve and maintain standards to the highest possible level.
- Assist with keeping all front-of-house areas clean and well-presented.
- Assist visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner upon arrival.
- Seek to engage, interact, and communicate with visitors throughout their visit. Actively promote ways to add value to their experience and to aspire to surpass their expectations.
- Attend regular briefings as set out by the Front of House Supervisor.
- Provide operational assistance for key events.
- Always represent Mount Congreve Gardens in a positive and professional way.
What's Required:
- A passion for working with people.
- Experience in a customer service environment is desirable.
- Experience using a till and cash-handling.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience or interest in horticulture and/or local history would be beneficial but not essential.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
Time and Commitment Required for this Role:
Minimum time commitment: 6 months
Hours required: 1 hour weekly
