Overview

Senior User Experience Researcher – Bangkok based, relocation provided. Agoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more. We build and deploy cutting-edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of hotels and holiday properties, plus flights and activities. We are a diverse, international team focused on experimentation and ownership to enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of research projects.
  • Lead core end-to-end research activities, including defining research objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication of findings.
  • Inform product teams to guide design decisions, user experience, product direction, and market strategy through research outputs.
Qualifications
  • Master Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains
  • Strong ability to plan, scope, conduct, analyze, and communicate research
  • Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, usability testing, etc.)
  • Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, sampling, cross-tabulations, statistical concepts)
  • Experience in evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors
  • Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong critical thinking beyond explicit business requests
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills; able to speak with business, design, and engineering teams in English
  • Collaborative in a dynamic, data-driven, creative environment
