This role is within our Audit and Assurance practice, specifically expanding our Asset Management team to meet growing client needs across sectors such as Funds, Aviation Leasing, Structured Finance and SPV, with opportunities to collaborate with clients locally and globally.

Role overview: This position is to strengthen our financial services audit team with audit managers to meet current and future client needs in the Asset Management space. You will gain exposure to diverse engagements and have the opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of quality and risk management.

Main Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a portfolio of clients to ensure delivery of multi-disciplined services in line with engagement objectives, scope and budget.
• Lead and co-ordinate engagement teams to deliver services to clients within set deadlines.
• Assist and motivate the team, allocate administration tasks, plan jobs, address training needs and resource requirements.
• Act as a technical resource for financial services covering accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP and FRS 102, including training and producing internal and external technical information.
• Supervise, train and develop staff to maintain firm standards throughout the audit process.
• Manage work in progress, billing, cash collection and budgeting.
• Participate in business development activities including proposals.
• Develop client relationships with management to provide commercially focused solutions.
• Cross-sell the product offering of the Business Unit and identify sales opportunities with other areas.
• Lead by example, managing multiple projects and maintaining high quality and risk management standards.
• Collaborate with client teams to prepare and review statutory financial statements and related financial information.

Qualifications and Skills

• ACA/ ACCA/ CPA qualified with 5+ years' PQE.
• Audit experience in financial services entities or experience in financial services sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and assurance standards and IFRS; working knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102 desirable.
• Ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines.
• Project and portfolio management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and attention to detail.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the financial sector and regulatory agenda.
