Cyber Security Engineer PAM ,Subject Matter Expert , Permanent, Hybrid , for a Financial Services Co Dublin

Role and Responsibilities (Including)

  • Join the Endpoint Security team as a Technical Specialist focused on Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Working with Privileged Access Management Solutions PAM ,(CyberArk, BeyondTrust etc.).
  • Experience in Network and Endpoint Defence strategies.
  • Provide daily operational administration of the Privileged Access Management environment, independently handling routine technical issues with minimal senior input.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated by PAM solutions.
  • Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of all components of the PAM solution, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Support version upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance of a complex environment.
  • Manage and execute the schedule of routine change activities in coordination with senior resources.
  • Participate in regular Disaster Recovery (DR) and Failover testing as part of resilience planning.

What you need:

  • A Degree IT or Security
  • 5 + years' experience in an IT Security industry role, with hands-on experience in PAM or cybersecurity operations and ten plus years' overall experience in the IT industry.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management Solutions (e.g. CyberArk).
  • Experience with Network and Endpoint Defence strategies and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and stakeholders for complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting eg PowerShell, Python to support automation efforts.
  • Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks.
  • A recognized qualification in Security such as CISSP, PAM Vendor certificates (e.g. CyberArk Trustee Certification), SAN's certificates
