Hours:

Approx. 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Term Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join our team as a Lead Educator on a maternity cover basis. The Preschool Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the preschool sessions. This role involves planning and implementing engaging daily and future preschool programmes while ensuring compliance with Tusla, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), and the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage preschool sessions, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.

Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the holistic development of children.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Tusla, ECCE, and AIM.

Collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to enhance the preschool experience.

Foster positive relationships with children and their families, supporting their individual needs.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

A minimum of Fetac Level 7 or 8 in Early Years & Childhood Studies.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in early years education.
