About Generator Dublin

Generator Dublin is located in the Smithfield neighbourhood, adjacent to the Jameson Distillery, near Temple Bar. The hostel offers open social spaces and a café and bar with reclaimed wood, exposed brickwork and original stonework. The city's diverse character is reflected in Generator's spaces and culture.

Nuts and Bolts of the Job
  • Take ownership of the guest journey to consistently raise the bar and create a unique Generator experience
  • Know your guests and have a passion for independent travel
  • Own guest complaints and resolve them yourself
  • Demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Be part of a great team within your department that understands Generator and embraces being themselves
  • Monitor social spaces, lighting, sound and temperature to embody the Generator brand and culture
  • Know your city, its cafés, bars, and restaurants, its art and its music
  • Comply with all trained company policies, including Fire Training, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Be responsible for all cash handling while on duty
  • Administer shift procedures with accuracy and consistency
