Role Summary

KKR is seeking to recruit a Compliance Professional to join it's growing team in Dublin and support the expanding business. The role will report to the Principal Compliance Professional for our MiFID entity in Ireland and will also encompass European regional responsibilities that the KKR compliance team in Dublin supports.

Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance onboarding for new products, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal frameworks
  • Review and strategically code side letters to operationalize investor-specific terms across compliance and operations
  • Develop and maintain mandate summaries to support investment monitoring and regulatory audit readiness
  • Review asset request forms to ensure alignment with fund documentation and investment guidelines
  • Oversee daily compliance monitoring, escalating issues and supporting continuous control improvements
  • Manage restricted list governance, including trade suspensions in coordination with trading and legal teams
  • Maintain and update the allocation matrix to reflect fund structures, investor terms, and policy standards
  • Deliver client compliance reporting, including attestations on investment guideline adherence
  • Support SOC1 compliance, including control documentation, audit response, and cross-functional coordination
  • Oversee counterparty debt facility and FX reporting, ensuring timely and accurate disclosures
  • Manage trade and transaction reporting obligations under MiFID II, EMIR, and ASIC regimes
  • Provide compliance oversight during capital call and distribution processes, ensuring accurate counterparty updates
  • Coordinate compliance certifications and attestations required by investors, counterparties, and regulators

Required Qualifications And Experience

  • 3+ years experience in the asset management sector, preferably within the alternative investment funds industry at a recognised investment firm, law firm, fund service provider or consultancy firm.
  • Preferably a law degree or similar background, not essential.
  • Strong experience with MiFID & AIFMD with a good understanding of alternative investment funds across Ireland and Luxembourg and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Strong governance background and familiar with corporate governance code in Ireland required, including Board of Director obligations and reporting.
  • Some experience with AML/KYC in Ireland, SFDR, Marketing and Product Governance preferable but not essential.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and be able to manage and prioritize multiple demands and projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
