We’re looking for a Setting Out Site Engineers to join a high-performing delivery team working across multiple high-profile construction projects. This role puts you at the centre of live site environments — driving precision, coordinating delivery, and ensuring every element is built exactly as designed.
If you thrive on fast-paced sites, technical accuracy, and real ownership, this is a role where your work genuinely moves projects forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead setting out and surveying activities across multiple active sites
- Work closely with Project Managers, Foremen & Subcontractors to ensure seamless execution
- Translate drawings and specifications into accurate on-site delivery
- Maintain detailed as-built records, levels, QA documentation
- Support programme delivery by keeping works aligned to milestones
- Drive HSEQ standards, contributing to daily briefings and safety culture
- Travel across projects as required — primarily Dublin, with national exposure
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in site engineering / setting out within construction or civils
- Strong technical ability using Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Leica/Trimble equipment
- Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications, and tolerances
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across site teams
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel
- Relevant Engineering / Construction qualification (Diploma or Degree)
