We are seeking an Account Handler to join our growing team. Our team values teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. As an Account Handler, you will work closely with skilled professionals dedicated to success. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships within the global market by understanding their needs and providing exceptional account support, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. Candidates working remotely are welcome, with travel to our Dublin office as needed. Applicants must reside in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist Account Executive with daily coverage questions and contract reviews.
  2. Coordinate renewal cycles proactively to ensure timely completion of all steps.
  3. Respond to client inquiries regarding applications and renewal information.
  4. Maintain good relationships with markets through effective communication.
  5. Prepare renewal strategy documents and proposals.
  6. Handle market submissions and analyze quotes from carriers, negotiating terms and conditions.
  7. Ensure accurate binding of renewal coverage and programs.
  8. Process certificates, endorsements, invoices, policies, and audits.
  9. Provide technical support to the team on a daily basis.
  10. Manage policy and endorsement follow-up systems, including reminders.
  11. Prepare proposals and presentations for clients and prospects.
  12. Navigate carriers' websites to obtain endorsements, loss runs, policies, and invoices.
  13. Communicate with markets regarding renewal policies, endorsements, and invoices.
  14. Assist team members with workload balancing and provide backup during absences.
  15. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-class commercial insurance products is essential.
  • Experience managing large corporate or multinational accounts is desirable.
  • Working towards or holding Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications (Cert CII/Dip CII) is preferred.
  • Educational standard of GCSE or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to meet targets within a regulated framework and achieve SLAs.
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and social skills.
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and organized, capable of working to deadlines and analyzing information.
