My client, a growing brokerage based in North Dublin, is seeking to hire a Commercial Account Handler to join their evolving team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial lines who enjoys working in a supportive, client focused environment.

Key responsibilities include

  • Handling renewals and mid term adjustments for a broad range of commercial clients
  • Quoting and placing new business across a variety of sectors
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing client communications including phone and email queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaising with underwriters to negotiate terms and cover
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Processing documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Keeping client files and records fully up to date
  • Supporting colleagues across the team where needed to ensure excellent client service

Experience and skills required

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial insurance
  • CIP qualification or working towards it
  • Knowledge of Relay or similar broking systems
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Client focused with excellent attention to detail
