Credit Risk Performance Analyst – 12 Month FTC

Based in Sky's office in Dublin, the credit risk team are key to the commercial objectives of the company as well as protecting the bad debt position of the P&L's we support.

As a Performance Analyst within the Credit Risk team, you'll have a drive to identify performance trends, analysing their root causes, helping with business growth and collaborative problem solving. This is accomplished through your excellent stakeholder engagement skills and using your data analytical abilities to bring this data to life. What you'll do:

  • Strategic Ownership: Lead and own risk requirements for roadmap initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and compliance standards.
  • Reporting & Insights: Develop, manage, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, providing actionable insights. Identify performance trends and areas requiring deeper analysis.
  • Data Analysis & Trend Monitoring: Collaborate across the risk team to perform detailed deep dives into emerging trends, using data to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, particularly within Real-Time Management (RTM) processes.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the Irish teams, our UK counterparts and the Manual Credit Referrals team to align on credit risk goals ensuring we are set up for success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple different teams including Commercial, Trading, Finance, Compliance, Fraud, Marketing to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of analytical and statistical techniques to interpret data, uncover insights, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL with the ability to create compelling visualisations and reports. Knowledge of Python is desirable but not essential.
  • Presentation & Communication Skills: Ability to confidently present findings and insights to wider teams, simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences to ensure clarity and engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and drive cross-functional teams, effectively managing both strategic relationships and operational execution.
  • Adaptability: Resilience and flexibility in the face of changing objectives, with the ability to communicate shifts in strategy positively and constructively.
  • Curiosity & Root Cause Analysis: A natural curiosity to delve deep into data to identify root causes of trends and issues, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective solutions.
