Site Engineer

We are seeking a high-caliber Site Engineer to join Cairn Homes in Cork on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and evaluate quality control for sub-contractor work
- Coordinate site drawings and setting out for subcontractors, including providing gridlines and levels for groundwork, RC frames, foundations, floor slabs, blocklaying, services, and civil works
- Supervise and monitor groundworks, civil engineering contractors, and concrete frame contractors
- Develop strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery with high-quality standards
- Maintain site records and quality assurance documentation
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Excellent team-working skills and ability to work with people at all levels
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to accept responsibility for assigned tasks
