Mission and goals

The Senior Principal Product Manager – Mobile is responsible for building innovative mobile security products and managing the business of mobile security products. This is a dual role: overseeing the mobile security product portfolio and building a mobile platform to enable independent apps for Gen brands (Norton, Avast, AVG, Avira, LifeLock, CCleaner, etc.).

Senior Principal Product Manager – Freemium Products: you will join a global team across time zones in a heavily metric‑driven organization. We are looking for someone with end‑to‑end ownership of a consumer mobile app, including monetization strategy (freemium, subscriptions, in‑app purchases) and accountability for growth metrics (user acquisition, conversion, retention, engagement). Experience limited to feature delivery or partial ownership is not a match.

What you'll do (Responsibilities)

• Develop and execute product strategy for mobile security products across freemium brands.
• Build and maintain the roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs; provide actionable insights and projections.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product managers, Sales, GTM, design, engineering, support, PMO) to ensure alignment, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
• Articulate the project story and define requirements; justify prioritization and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
• Develop compelling business cases evaluating impacts on product and business.
• Lead major product or feature launches with a focus on growth and customer satisfaction.
• Drive end‑to‑end ownership of a consumer mobile app, including monetization and growth metrics.
• Research customers and markets; balance independent work with cross‑functional leadership in a matrix organization.
• Prepare and present content to various audiences, including senior leadership.
• Deliver roadmap items that meet strategy, achieve ROI, and drive business results.

Required qualifications

• Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of consumer mobile apps and monetization strategies (freemium, subscriptions, in‑app purchases).
• Strong ability to define product strategy, build roadmaps, and manage requirements backlog.
• Proven track record of product launches and driving growth metrics (acquisition, activation, retention, engagement).
• Excellent communication skills; able to present to senior leaders and work across teams.
• Strong research, ideation, and problem‑solving skills; able to operate in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to work independently and motivate cross‑functional teams across time zones.

Preferred qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Tools: Miro, Productboard, Figma, Jira, Confluence, PowerBI, Qlikview; marketing tools such as Firebase, Singular, Google Analytics.
• Product Management experience: 7–10+ years in B2C/B2B SaaS, mobile products, or cybersecurity space.
