Responsibilities
  • You will be accountable for growing the research business and meeting sales budgets covering the complete island of Ireland (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland).
  • You will be selling research consumables and reagents, and the full workflow to new and existing customers, covering cellular research immunology, cancer research, neuroscience, stem cell research, and others.
  • You are responsible for developing and implementing an effective territory business plan in line with the company\'s strategic goals.
  • You will develop our relationships with customers and key opinion leaders in academia, biotech, CROs/CMOs, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • You\'ll also be an effective communicator, presenting seminars, performing instrument demonstrations, and supporting Miltenyi Biotec at trade fairs, congresses, and symposia.
Qualifications
  • You have a BSc in a biological discipline or an MSc/PhD in Immunology, Cell analysis, or Cancer Biology and several years of sales experience.
  • You have strong commercial experiences, as you\'ll be able to demonstrate your ability to strategically plan account activities and accurately forecast sales.
  • The position requires you to be a well-organized individual with good interpersonal skills and commercial flair.
  • You\'re an excellent presenter, one-on-one and in front of larger audiences (from research students to senior scientists).
  • You\'ll travel regularly, with some overnight stays, and you\'ll ideally based in the Dublin area.
