We are now seeking an experienced Quantitative Research Director to join the strong team already in place, in order to help us to manage our current client needs and help drive the business to new heights.

Job Summary:

You will join a highly experienced and dynamic team of Directors that lead the RED C business in Ireland. Your role will be to head up and manage existing client accounts, and to also help generate new business.

On a routine day to day basis, you will be involved in all aspects of the research process, including client account handling, client development, proposal preparation, project design and management, analysis and delivery of key consumer insights to our blue chip client list and managing the account team. Ensuring methodological rigor, actionable insights, and client satisfaction. This leadership role will also involve managing research teams, engaging with clients, and driving innovation to maintain the company's competitive edge in the market research industry.

RED C has a strong support team in place, meaning that you will almost always work leading a strong team on each client account, and will have support at all levels including project managers and research executives, as well as operations support.

Outside of the day to day there will be an opportunity to use your initiative to investigate new markets and develop the company product suite. For the right candidate with the right experience this is an excellent opportunity to develop a new offering.

You will also have input into the running of the business, taking some responsibility for strategic task implementation in an area of interest to you. This could include areas such as talent, innovation, new product development, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the company's strategy.
Ensure alignment with client objectives and market trends.
Champion innovation in research methodologies and analytical tools.
- Project Oversight:
Design and oversee end-to-end research projects, including sampling, data collection, analysis, and reporting and storytelling.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of researchers and analysts.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Help manage resource allocation and workflow to optimize team efficiency.
- Client Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients.
Present research findings and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Methodological Expertise:
Help lead the development and application of advanced statistical and quantitative methodologies.
Stay updated on emerging research trends, tools, and technologies.
Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in data handling and research practices.
- Business Development Support:
Collaborate across the senior team to identify client needs and tailor research proposals.
Contribute to proposal writing, budgeting, and pitching new projects.

Experience Required

- You will have a proven passion for market research, love discovering why consumers behave the way they do, and have a track record for being able to uncover and deliver insights through best-in-class storytelling.
- You will likely already be at Associate Director or Director level and will have a minimum of 10 years' experience. You have considerable experience in quantitative research techniques and analysis.
- Some agency experience is valuable. You will have a proven track record in project and people management. You will be client focused and have strong influencing skills with the ability to instil client confidence quickly and contribute to revenue generation. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to relate insight to strategic business management issues. You will have excellent reporting skills and be a first rate presenter.
- You will be a manager, a mentor and a leader, able to motivate and help staff flourish and enjoy their work, organise teams to work effectively and lead them to deliver great results.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in market research or a related field, with at least 5 years in research management role.
