Quantitative Research Director Job Summary

You will head up and manage existing client accounts, generating new business opportunities.

As Quantitative Research Director, you will be involved in all aspects of the research process including project design, management, analysis, and delivery of key consumer insights to blue chip clients.

Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, project oversight, team management, client engagement, methodological expertise, and business development support.

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the company's strategy ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends.
    • Champion innovation in research methodologies and analytical tools.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Design and oversee end-to-end research projects including sampling, data collection, analysis, reporting, and storytelling.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of researchers and analysts fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Help manage resource allocation and workflow to optimize team efficiency.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients presenting research findings and strategic recommendations.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships driving repeat business and referrals.
  • Methodological Expertise:
    • Contribute to the development and application of advanced statistical and quantitative methodologies.
    • Stay updated on emerging research trends, tools, and technologies ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Business Development Support:
    • Collaborate across the senior team identifying client needs and tailoring research proposals.
    • Contribute to proposal writing, budgeting, and pitching new projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in quantitative research techniques and analysis.

They will possess strong influencing skills, the ability to instill client confidence quickly, and contribute to revenue generation.

A first-rate presenter with excellent reporting skills, they will also be a manager, mentor, and leader who can motivate staff and help them flourish in their roles.
