Catering Assistant (Part Time) - UPMC Aut Even

Overview of role:

UPMC Aut Even Hospital are recruiting a Catering Assistant (Night Teas) on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an evening shift position with working hours of 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The successful candidate will work every second week, Monday to Sunday with opportunities for additional shifts on alternative weeks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve pre-prepared meals and tea/water to patients.
  2. Responsible for clearing up and washing delph after the light meal / refreshment.
  3. Other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Previous experience working within a similar environment is advantageous.
  2. Pleasant demeanor with patients required.
  3. Ability to adhere to strict food and safety protocols and infection control measures.
  4. The ability to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Work effectively as part of a team.
  6. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
