We are currently seeking an exceptional Bar Manager to lead the team at The Tack Room, Adare Manor's renowned cocktail and whiskey bar. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and knowledgeable beverage professional to shape one of Ireland's most unique bar experiences.

About The Tack Room
The Tack Room is a destination in itself, home to a carefully curated cocktail menu by our mixologist. Every drink is crafted with the finest ingredients to deliver unforgettable flavours. Our exceptional whiskey collection includes rare selections and our own exclusive cask of Midleton Very Rare, representing some of the finest expressions in the world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the seamless day-to-day running of The Tack Room
2. Ensure that all team members consistently deliver to Adare Manor's high standards of service and hospitality
3. Lead, train, and develop a team of Bartenders, Mixologists, and Service Staff
4. Drive profitability while maintaining financial oversight and cost control
5. Deliver memorable guest experiences, with a focus on storytelling, product knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail
6. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
7. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety legislation, and internal policies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

1. Have at least 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or high-end cocktail bar
2. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, with a passion for industry trends and innovation
3. Be a confident and motivational leader, committed to staff development and team engagement
4. Provide intuitive and warm guest service, with a strong eye for detail and an understanding of luxury standards
5. Communicate fluently in spoken and written English
6. Remain calm and composed under pressure, while managing high expectations
7. Experience working with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards is a strong advantage
8. Hold a recognised qualification in hospitality, bartending, or culinary arts (preferred)
