Overview

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Accommodation Assistant to join the Accommodation Department at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. The Lodge sits within a 350 acre estate and overlooks Lough Corrib. Built in 1865, it offers country house charm with fine dining and a range of estate activities. It is one of Ireland's finest wedding destinations, pairing warm Irish hospitality with a modern appeal.

Responsibilities
  • Providing each guest with the highest levels of housekeeping service in accordance with Red Carnation Hotels standards
  • Providing a full service to vacated bedrooms and replenishing stayover bedrooms
  • Providing guests with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests' needs
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate
  • Have a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Be enthusiastic and fully flexible (working 5 days over a 7 day period, including some weekends and holidays)
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
  • Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively
