The Role:
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Specialist Sonographer to lead and deliver high-quality ultrasound services in our client's Women's Health Clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in a modern, well-supported setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise services and contribute to clinical excellence and innovation in women's health.

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Specialist Sonographer:

  • Perform a wide range of advanced ultrasound scans to the highest clinical standards.
  • Lead and manage daily ultrasound operations, ensuring efficient workflow and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and support their professional development.
  • Participate in clinical audits, service development initiatives, and research activities.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, health & safety, and hospital protocols.

What You Need:

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with minimum 6 years' ultrasound experience
  • MSc in Ultrasound
  • CORU Registration (essential)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care
