Responsibilities

  1. Install, modify, and maintain the full range of moulding and plant equipment.
  2. Continuously improve moulding and plant operations, including:
  • Fine-tuning equipment to increase output.
  • Reducing downtime and waste.
  • Maintaining lines at optimal performance.
  • Upholding high engineering standards.
  • Handling breakdowns promptly.
  • Carrying out mould overhauls and in-press repairs.
Assist in validation of new and existing equipment, including acceptance trials and debugging.Operate manual equipment (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce spare parts and support operations.Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and local engineering shops.Analyze customer complaints and internal quality issues, contributing to improvement programs to eliminate defects.Assist in training technicians, new recruits, and apprentices.Participate in company-wide continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing quality tools as applicable.Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance and breakdowns.Utilize IT systems such as SAP effectively.Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained, reporting unsafe conditions or faults.

Relevant Experience

  • At least 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in the medical, pharmaceutical, or automotive industries.
  • Experience in injection moulding, maintenance, or toolmaking is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with PC skills, including MS Office and CAD/SolidWorks.
