Overview

SK9 Human Capital are delighted to be working on a new role for a Technical Field Sales Rep for our very successful client in the construction sector.

Working for one of Ireland's most successful building & construction supplies companies, you will be required to closely focus your BD & Sales skills with a range of customers across the Midlands area, particularly Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Developers and their design teams to offer bespoke cost-effective solutions that will match each project's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customers within the construction sector, including contractors, merchants, and specifiers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term relationships.
  • Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to customers on-site and remotely.
  • Deliver sales growth through a consultative approach, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders, logistics, and after-sales service run smoothly.
  • Keep accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts using the CRM system.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in field sales, ideally within the construction supplies, building products, or related technical sector.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and supply chain.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Third-level qualification, ideally in a construction/engineering discipline
