Mount Juliet Estate, a Marriott Autograph Collection Property, has a fantastic vacancy for an Accommodation Assistant to join the team.

Main Duties
  1. Maintains excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the Estate.
  2. Clean and maintain hotel bedrooms for check-in and check-out.
  3. Cleaning of public areas, meeting rooms, and office space.
  4. Ensures all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
  5. Deals with all guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Ensure that all checklists are completed.
  7. Follows Estate procedure for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost property.
  8. Adheres to Estate policy for key control and security.
Desired Skills
  1. Some experience as an Accommodation Assistant.
  2. Experience in cleaning/sanitising.
  3. The ability to engage well with guests.
  4. Excellent attention to detail.
  5. The ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure.
  6. Outgoing and friendly personality.
  7. Have a professional image at all times in line with the Hotel standards.
  8. Be committed to the team and the Hotel industry.
  9. Be flexible with working hours (must be available for weekends and midweek, early starts, and late finishes).
  10. Report all potential and real hazards immediately.
  11. Attend all fire, health and safety, and first aid training.
  12. Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations, by strict adherence to existing laws and reporting any possible hazards and conditions to the Manager.
  13. Be passionate about hospitality, and thrive on working as part of a team.
  14. Be personable, responsible, and conscientious.
  15. Have the ability to deliver great customer service and develop relationships with our guests.
  16. Have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  17. Be committed to their own personal development.
  18. Be comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
