Location:Dublin 12 (Hybrid – 2 days on site).

The Role

Are you an experienced Commercial Underwriter with a strong background inProperty and Liability? This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key part inevaluating and underwriting multi-line commercial business, working closely with broker partners and internal sales teams to drive growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• UnderwriteCommercial Property and Liabilitybusiness in line with company standards and risk appetite.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners and internal stakeholders.
• Support business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities while ensuringquality risk selection.
• Utilize pricing tools and maintain underwriting discipline to achieve financial objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior underwriting staff.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to the development of product strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal underwriting policies.

What You Need to Succeed

• ExperienceinCommercial Underwriting, specifically withinProperty and Liability.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and underwriting principles.
• Proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions and manage risk effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong professional relationships.
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
