The Hodson Bay Hotel is currently seeking to recruit a Leisure Centre Attendant to join our excellent team.

About you:

  • Previous leisure centre or hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • Sales experience and confidence using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Lifeguard and/or First Aid qualification would be a strong asset.

Your role will include:
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and upkeep across all leisure centre areas including indoor facilities, changing rooms, outdoor spaces, and associated areas.
  • Supervising the leisure centre to ensure guests adhere to all rules and health and safety regulations, keeping everyone safe.
  • Assisting with the safe setup and supervision of outdoor activities to ensure an enjoyable and secure experience for guests.
  • Supporting guests by answering queries knowledgeably about the hotel and leisure services.
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and fun environment for all users of the leisure centre.
