Position: Breakfast Chef
Location: Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Blessington Lakes, Blessington, Co Wicklow
At Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort we are inviting experienced applicants to apply for the role of Breakfast Chef in our 4 star Hotel & Golf Resort. This is a full-time role which includes weekends.
Experience: The successful applicant must have at least two years experience, preferably in a four star hotel.
Our HotelMore than just a hotel. Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. The hotel comprises 89 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges, with spaces for weddings and events. The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve a range of dishes in a relaxing environment with views over the golf course, Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. Ingredients are sourced locally from Irish farmers and suppliers. The hotel is located about 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50.
Your New RoleYou will be part of an award‑winning kitchen team. You should demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and clear communication, taking pride in producing high‑quality guest experiences. We focus on a diverse, locally sourced menu that blends world cuisine with the best of Irish produce.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the standard of food and pastries produced is of the highest possible standard.
- Follow standardised recipes, preparation and presentation standards.
- Ensure the smooth running of food service with restaurant personnel.
- Meet all guest special requests.
- Maintain a hygienic and organised work environment prioritising HACCP regulations.
- Store goods correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP.
- Rotate stock as per HACCP requirements.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules for the Kitchen.
- All applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
- Always work on behalf of guests and collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP.
- Lead by example at all times.
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
- Commit to high levels of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness.
- Take direction from Executive Head Chef & Sous Chef to monitor food quality and hygiene standards.
- Be self‑motivated and creative and committed to quality in presentation of food.
