Nord Anglia International School, Dublin is looking to recruit a Teacher with Secondary Maths Teaching experience, to drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of Mathematics for a maternity leave cover position. Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary team. This is an exciting opportunity to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens, who will change our world for the better. You will benefit our students and people, through our programmes such as the Global Campus, Nord Anglia University, and our collaborations with The Juilliard School, MIT, UNICEF, IMG and King's College London.
The Role- To drive excellent teaching and learning by delivering engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to secondary students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
- Engaging and interacting as the school ambassador to the community through participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach programs that promote mathematical literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create interdisciplinary units of inquiry, integrating Mathematics into broader educational contexts.
- Utilizing a range of assessment tools to track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support differentiated learning.
- Incorporating technology and innovative resources into Mathematics lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- A recognized teaching qualification and experience teaching Mathematics at MYP and DP levels.
- A deep understanding of the IB curriculum and philosophy, with a passion for Mathematics education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in developing and delivering creative, student-centred learning experiences that align with IB goals and standards.
