Overview

As the Desktop Support Engineer, you will join our existing Client Trading Support team responsible for supporting trading teams in Susquehanna's Dublin office. This role involves supporting all Windows desktop issues, PC builds, software installs, troubleshooting applications, and working on Dublin and global projects. The environment is energetic, dynamic, and fast-paced, requiring strong technical ability and the capacity to work under pressure. You will collaborate with teams in Dublin, London, Philadelphia, and external vendors, participating in early morning and late evening shifts, and supporting out-of-hours work as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd level support for desktop hardware and software, using tools like SCCM, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Check_MK, and Wireshark.
  • Managing and resolving complex queries via ticketing systems.
  • Evaluating and improving support procedures and tools.
  • Collaborating with internal IT support functions and external vendors.
  • Maintaining the Knowledge Base and run books.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of desktop support experience with software and hardware.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of peripherals, printers, graphics cards, and hardware components.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, PowerShell scripting, SCCM, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
