An exceptional career opportunity has arisen for a Tax Director to join a global technology business, headquartered in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Global Tax, you'll becoming a key member of a high-performing tax team, contributing to major transactions, overseeing compliance, and managing tax risk across the group.

This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional who enjoys being hands on - someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, is detail-oriented, and eager to play a central role in both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.

About the position

  • Lead the global consolidated tax provision process
  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team on a range of advisory projects, including M&A, financing, restructuring, and cash repatriation.
  • Monitor international tax developments to identify potential risks and opportunities, and implement strategies to address them effectively.
  • Stay aligned with evolving business practices to ensure tax reporting reflects the group's dynamic operating environment.
  • Manage tax audits, disputes, and relationships with relevant tax authorities.
  • Stay current on global transfer pricing developments, including OECD and local regulatory changes, and assess their implications for the group.

About the person

  • 10+ years of PQE tax experience, preferably in a multinational group or Big 4 firm.
  • Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS, and global tax regulations.
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail and risk management.
  • Organized self-starter, who is goal oriented and possesses the intellectual curiosity to be a problem solver.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well with people across various teams.
