Muiriosa Foundation are recruiting Support Workers to work as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidates will support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and promotion of personal health and wellbeing. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life. A relevant QQI Level 5 qualification is expected. Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans. A valid manual driving license in Ireland is desirable. Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and strong organisational, logistical and IT skills are advantageous. Able to work lone or as part of a team. Experience of working with people with a range of support needs including behaviours of concern. Good connections in the local community are an advantage.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Relevant QQI Level 5 qualification
  • Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans
  • Valid driving license (manual vehicle) in Ireland
  • Experience with adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
  • Strong organisational, logistical and IT skills
  • Ability to lone work or work as part of a team
