Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking company based in Cork, currently seeking a Practice Accountant to join their team. They are looking for an ideal Practice Accountant with experience in Management Accounting. This opportunity within the company is both fresh and enticing, and it requires an enthusiastic and self-driven individual with exceptional organizational and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and year-end statutory accounts that do not require auditing.
  2. Assist clients in establishing financial control systems while ensuring compliance with company secretarial requirements.
  3. Provide guidance to clients on implementing technology-driven best practices to improve efficiency and promote growth.
  4. Develop proficiency in various accounting software programs, including Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, and recommend appropriate packages and tools to clients.
  5. Contribute to the company's accounting technology strategy and oversee the introduction of new accounting solutions.
  6. Manage internal administrative tasks such as timesheets and invoicing.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA certification.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience with a strong background in management accounting and technology.
  3. Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
