Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Python Developer for an on-site role in Cork. The Python Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining Python applications. Daily tasks include writing reusable, testable, and efficient code, designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications, integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic, and troubleshooting and debugging applications. The role involves collaboration with other engineers and developers to design APIs and improve existing software.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python programming and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
  • Experience with integrating APIs and working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and multithreading concepts
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work on-site in Cork
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
