We are entering a phase of growth and operational refinement — and we're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded General Manager to lead our team, streamline our processes, and ensure quality and profitability at every stage.

This role is about more than managing day-to-day operations. You'll be driving change, process improvement, and quality management while ensuring our workflows are efficient, orders are accurate, clients are satisfied, and the business runs at maximum performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring orders are correctly processed, resourced, and delivered on time
  • Oversee quality management and QC systems to ensure products meet exacting standards
  • Review and refine workflows for maximum efficiency and profitability
  • Manage operatives effectively — setting clear objectives, tracking performance, and building accountability
  • Oversee order tracking, shipping accuracy, and delivery performance with minimal waste or rework
  • Act as a key client contact, ensuring expectations are set, managed, and met
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas
  • Champion Health & Safety compliance in all aspects of the operation

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership in a General Manager or Operations Manager role (manufacturing or engineering preferred)
  • Experience with change management and process improvement
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and QC processes
  • Commercially astute with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and client satisfaction
  • Excellent workflow planning, organisational, and people management skills
  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge in a production environment
