Responsibilities
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Serves existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Able to quickly become knowledgeable in the company product line.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Must be available to attend trade shows and road shows, and cover assigned floor time.
  • Must be available to meet with potential customers for evening and/or weekend appointments.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Compensation
  • Hourly/Salary (Non-Exempt) during initial training period
  • After training period, commission only based on company commission structure
