Job Title: Sustainability Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing our global sustainability strategy, focusing on energy, CO2, and water management across all facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building service engineering, energy engineering, or a related field, with experience in energy auditing, conservation, consumption forecasting, and cost/benefit analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across all facilities
  • Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain records of energy use and identify areas for reduction
  • Liaise with facility managers to implement energy-saving initiatives
  • Develop and implement training programs for facility staff on sustainable practices
  • Assist in the development of corporate sustainability reporting requirements (CSRD)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/Masters in Building Service Engineering/Energy Engineering/Sustainable Energy Engineering/related technical discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in energy engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of energy and CO2 auditing, energy conservation, consumption forecasting, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
