Overview

Assistant Store Manager role at Born Clothing in Dungarvan. We are seeking a passionate fashion retail manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ability to delegate effectively, manage a team, and work well under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily operations of a fast-paced retail store
  • Manage and develop your own team: training needs, monitoring performance, processing deliveries, stock placement
  • Recruiting and developing the sales team
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure cost reduction and profit protection procedures are in place
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Report to the Store Manager
  • Drive sales and maximise profit by analysing sales reports and targets
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Manage daily store operations by delegating effectively and working with deployment plans
  • Promote and maintain a high level of customer service at all times
What are we looking for?
  • Previous management experience in a retail fashion store (preferably 2 years)
  • Strong work ethic and thrive under pressure
  • Motivated, energetic and show good leadership as part of a team
  • Experience in managing staff, rosters, deployment plans and delegation skills
  • Ability to analyse targets, KPIs, trends, merchandising
  • Passion for delivering a good customer shopping experience
  • Computer literate, POS, Excel, etc.
  • Fully flexible including weekends and weekdays
