As the RFID Sales Manager for the IDT Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, part of HID Global, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market growth in France. This role focuses on expanding RFID passive transponder sales across various vertical markets.

We seek a Sales Manager with expertise, knowledge, or strong interest in these verticals. HID offers support and training from our business development team to help you become a leading expert in the RFID market.

In this role, you will primarily target OEMs, system integrators, and distributors operating in these environments. You will collaborate closely with ISC Sales Leadership and the Sales Support Teams.

Identification Technologies (IDT):

Creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services, HID's IDT powers secure identities via contactless identification and sensing technologies like RFID, NFC, and BLE, addressing diverse industry needs for wireless data management across IoT applications.

As our Sales Manager, you will support HID's success by:

  • Acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts in designated regions and verticals.
  • Understanding customer needs during pre-sales and educating them on HID products that solve their challenges.
  • Managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing design-in solutions.
  • Collaborating with product management and engineering teams as needed.
  • Planning and executing marketing and sales campaigns with HID management to enhance brand recognition and growth.
  • Participating in tradeshows, exhibitions, and partner events.
  • Hunting for new customers, maintaining key contacts, and fostering organic growth.
  • Preparing forecasts and revenue reports regularly.
  • Building a pipeline for long-term ISC business growth.
  • Acting as a market expert to inform future product development based on trends.

What we love about your background:

  • Several years of sales experience with confidence engaging all customer levels (Engineering, Procurement, C-Suite).
  • Passion for sales, product knowledge, and solving customer challenges.
  • Experience in cold calling and remote selling, handling resistance confidently.
  • Proven success in hunting, cold-calling, and closing new business, including social media outreach.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to analyze complex data, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and flexible.

Your Experience and Education include:

  • Technical training or education preferred, with high affinity for technical products.
  • Understanding of RFID technologies, especially tags and labels, is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written.
  • Prompt follow-up skills for inquiries from customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop presentations and content as a subject matter expert.
  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including boards and technical groups.
  • Professional interaction with sales, marketing, and other departments.
  • Ability to interpret technical standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce is advantageous.
