About the role:

  • We are looking to hire a BMS Engineer to join the Engineering Team supporting our Biotech Client based in Athlone. The selected candidate will be involved and work closely with the engineering team responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of systems.

Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:

  • Automation Project Support including Coding Design Testing and IOQ Support.
  • Support of on-site Siemens Desigo BMS System. Initiating Implementing and Qualifying Proactive sites changes and small projects for site.
  • Join the daily support rota for the department. Out of hours On-call Automation Support.
  • Co-ordination of tasks to ensure timely delivery. Monthly reporting of tasks complete and support provided.
  • Siemens Desigo BMS System expert.
  • Expert understanding on all Project Lifecycle phases and tasks.
  • Ability to liaise directly with client on design issues.
  • Track record demonstrating an ability to lead a complete project.
  • Participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs.
  • Provide input to the development of project schedules and document trackers.
  • Participate in, and support, relevant project meetings.
  • Participate and support data mapping of new system to ensure end to end data flow requirements.

Required Skill:

  • Siemens Desigo CC experience is required.
  • Work on BMS projects, Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work independently.
