EHS Engineer - Ireland, Westport - 12 Month Contract

Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking an EHS Engineer to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility. They have invested $55 billion in research to discover and develop new medicines, aiming for scientific breakthroughs and improving lives. With 50,000 employees worldwide, the company continues to grow.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  1. Ensure the highest standards of Environmental Health and Safety are maintained throughout the plant in a dynamic business environment.
  2. Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with all statutory Employment and EHS legislation.
  3. Develop and implement systems and procedures to optimise safety, health, and environmental performance on-site.
  4. Maintain effective contractor management systems and procedures, including Contractor Safety Performance KPIs.
Desirable Experience:
  • BSc in Occupational Safety & Health Level 8, or an equivalent degree in a related discipline, is required.
  • Relevant and strong experience in the field.
  • Ability to process information quickly and accurately.
