Overview

Join Allianz Ireland as a Vendor Manager and manage and optimize our strategic outsourcing relationship with Allianz Services Private Limited (ASPL), part of the global Allianz Group and operating from multiple locations, including India. The role is based in Elm Park, Dublin 4, with a hybrid working model.

Allianz Services delivers services to Allianz Ireland and the Allianz Group, including customer service, back office support, and specialized functions such as Finance and Portfolio Underwriting. This newly created role offers you the chance to drive success and shape the future of this vital partnership, while enabling innovation at Allianz Ireland through shared expertise and technological advancements with Allianz Services. Through collaboration with other entities within the Allianz Group, we can enhance services and drive forward-thinking solutions.

The main focus is the Allianz Services relationship, with potential involvement in vendor management activities for other high-priority vendors across Allianz Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with Allianz Services to ensure delivery of high-quality services and innovation opportunities. Nurture the relationship and ensure vendor activities align with Allianz Ireland's strategic goals and operational requirements.
  • Lead negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements on behalf of senior Allianz Ireland stakeholders, collaborating with Finance, People and Organisation, and the ASPL Allianz Ireland executive management business owner to secure value and strategic objectives.
  • Establish robust oversight mechanisms to ensure vendor operations comply with Allianz Ireland's internal policies, procedures, and regulatory framework, with emphasis on assurance of adherence.
  • Coordinate oversight of Allianz Services performance, evaluate contractual obligations, maintain or exceed service levels, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Steer change processes in collaboration with process owners and take ownership of order agreements to deliver best-in-class service and strengthened partnership.
  • Monitor costs and drive financial efficiency by keeping operations within budget while maximizing value across the relationship.
  • Lead and support monthly senior stakeholder steering committee meetings to foster collaboration and strategic alignment.
  • Proactively identify risks in the Allianz Services relationship and coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate Allianz Ireland engagement with relevant Allianz Group best-practice sharing communities.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Insurance or Financial Services, or a regulatory environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or other relevant qualification.
  • Experience in people or performance management.
  • Ownership mindset, learning agility, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience working with service providers in a vendor management context.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape, governance frameworks, and risk management in financial services.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across multiple countries and fostering cross-cultural relationships.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders by delivering updates and preparing presentations as required.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with data-driven decision-making.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to ASPL sites in the future if required.
