Senior Product Developer, Asset Management, Dublin

Our client, a leading European asset manager, is seeking a senior product developer to join their team in the Dublin office, to drive the creation of cutting-edge retail investment solutions across traditional and alternative asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse market trends and competitor offerings using third-party databases to support product development strategy
  • Build productive relationships with investment partners to evaluate and summarise investment ideas for new product launches
  • Organise workshops to achieve consensus on future product launches and market intelligence
  • Ensure competitive market positioning and challenge internal teams to maintain market advantage
  • Develop analytics capabilities using proprietary client data to identify behavioral triggers for commercial products
  • Streamline proprietary product development processes to meet evolving commercial and regulatory requirements
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members while delivering regular feedback
  • Conduct comprehensive competitor research at industry, firm, and strategy levels
  • Recommend optimal products for promotion based on anticipated market trends
  • Collaborate with investments, distributors, and stakeholders to ensure robust product offerings

Requirements

  • 7-10 years relevant experience in investment industry product management, development, or market research
  • Demonstrable track record in asset management environment
  • Good knowledge of investment markets, asset classes, return drivers, risk, and manager styles
  • Self-initiative with strong attention to detail
  • Genuine passion for financial markets and innovative solution structuring
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Analytical approach with ability to express views commercially
