Overview

Are you a qualified Electrician working in a factory environment and looking for a change of pace? This is an exciting opportunity to break free from the same four walls and take your skills on the road across Ireland. Join a dynamic team supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of food production equipment used in ready meal packaging. Every day brings new challenges, customer interactions, and the chance to work on a variety of sites nationwide.

Responsibilities
  • Attend customer sites across Ireland for equipment installations, breakdowns, and routine service visits.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults on food/FMCG production machinery.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Liaise directly with customers to provide technical support and ensure high service standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota to support emergency breakdowns.
Criteria
  • Recognised Electrical Qualification (e.g., QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working with food/FMCG production equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required.
