We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Sales and M&E professional to join our Senior Management at Leonardo Hotel Parnell Street, Leonardo Hotel Christchurch, and NYX Portobello Hotel Dublin as Cluster Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will also have good commercial understanding and experience with corporate accommodation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to drive business and grow market share from existing accounts and deliver new business.

As part of the role, you will be enrolled in our Sales Training Academy – Guru to Master the art of sales You will have the flexibility to work from home once a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an understanding of the local hotel markets through intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity and rates, resulting in increased revenue via focused sales activities for Local and National Accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., monthly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and annual reports to meet the needs of the Regional Sales Manager and General Manager.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the Corporate and M&E segments, using appropriate business tools.
  • Complete and execute hotel sales plans, reviewing and updating them in line with strategy and hotel needs.
  • Manage hotel RFPs, ensuring stakeholder consultation during negotiations.
  • Manage a portfolio of local and territory accounts, supporting the delivery of National Accounts.
  • Use data and market research to conduct telesales and campaigns to identify opportunities.
  • Oversee hotel Group and M&E business performance.
  • Ensure CRM system use aligns with standards for self and team.
