Brooks is located on Drury Street within a few minutes walk of Dublin's famed Grafton Street, Temple Bar and Trinity College, Brooks' is a four star designer/boutique hotel catering for guests who value difference and for whom ambiance, décor and quality of service are important.

Brooks Hotel requires a Kitchen porter to join the kitchen team. Candidate must like cleaning and have high standards of cleanliness. Hours are from 6am to 2.30 or from 2.30 to 11pm and will include weekend work.

Responsibilities Of The Role

To maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Kitchen

Using the industrial dishwasher to clean all crockery and cutlery

Cleaning pots and pans

Cleaning all kitchen equipment

Cleaning all work surfaces and floors

Assisting Chefs with their work to include prepping breakfast mise en place and basic food preparation

Ensuring high standards of HACCAP are maintained

Requirements

Have to be able to work mornings , evenings and including weekend.

Must have experience in a similar standard hotel or restaurant

Positive attitude and warm and friendly personality

Proven ability to work with a team

Excellent communication skills

High standards with excellent attention to detail

Fluent English essential

Experience In Irish Properties Preferred

Live locally so can commute easily to work.

Brooks Hotel is a four-star boutique hotel situated on Drury Street only minutes from Grafton Street and St. Stephen's Green in the fashionable heart of Dublin City.

Our 4* hotel reopened in January 2025 and will boast newly refurbished and a completely redesigned lobby, bar and brasserie for guests to enjoy.
