Description

Now under the management of FBD Hotels & Resorts, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team as Kitchen Porters at the Grand Hotel, Malahide. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable.

Objective: To assist the Culinary Team in maintaining standards in hygiene and food safety. The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Chef in the busy hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high levels of operational hygiene in all Kitchen areas in compliance with hotel and health and safety regulations
  • Carrying out cleaning duties as outlined in the cleaning schedule and completing daily/weekly cleaning checklists
  • Cleaning pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, ensuring correct storage
  • Deep cleaning of the kitchen, including equipment and storage areas, as required
  • Managing stock rotation and deliveries
