About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team for a data centre project. You will be responsible for preparing and supporting cost estimates for mechanical systems, reviewing project plans, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and support mechanical estimates for HVAC, piping, and other mechanical systems.
  • Review project plans and specifications to define the full scope of mechanical work.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary data and support estimating database development.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor bid packages to ensure accurate pricing and scope alignment.
  • Complete pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and provide technical clarifications as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience, preferably with data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
