Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Estimator to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will provide commercial and contractual support on a number of major projects.

Job Description:

  • ">
  • To provide effective commercial and contractual support to operations on a number of major projects in accordance with procedures.">
  • To prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.">
  • To ensure timely submission and agreement of applications, cost plans, variation details, claims and other documentation.">
  • Liaising with clients and Consultants from initial enquiries through to final accounts on the production and agreement of account details and securing final payment without undue penalty.">
  • Closely monitor and process project variations.">
  • Issuing tender queries and preparation of tender reports.">
  • Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects.">
  • Monitor project costs against budgets, identify problems/opportunities and recommend /implement change where necessary.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3 + Years industry-relevant experience.">
  • Tendering on a variety of large scale projects including commercial, pharma, DC, healthcare">
  • Involved in full tender process from beginning to completion;">
  • Liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis">
  • A relevant third level degree and/or a mechanical trade background;">
  • Experience in a mechanical contracting environment essential;">
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines essential;">
  • Excellent communication and time management skills essential;">
