Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major Data Centre project in County Kildare.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team driving commercial success and delivering best-in-class projects across Ireland, the UK, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaising with clients' commercial and contract teams
  • Managing procurement processes, including subcontractor packages
  • Conducting cost and risk analysis
  • Reviewing critical incoming correspondence and initiating appropriate contractual responses
  • Overseeing the commercial performance of subcontractors
  • Producing accurate cost, margin, and cash flow reports
  • Managing project change order procedures and negotiating costs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree-qualified in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying roles
  • Data Centre experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced electrical/mechanical project environment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A team player who enjoys contributing to high-performing project teams
