Overview

The Client: My Client are an established-but-growing Residential Developer. They have several sites in Co. Kerry and Co. Limerick and are known for building quality homes across the Country. I'm looking for 2no. Project Manager / Site Managers to look after a Housing projects in Co. Kerry. Both are initially going to be circa 60no. unit developments consisting of 2no. and 3no. storey, Timber-Frame properties. You'd be the most senior person on Site and you'll ensure site safety and operations run smoothly, whilst reporting to a regional Senior PM/Director. We're happy to consider candidates coming from a Trades or Engineering background with previous experience managing Residential Developments. As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. This position has supervisory responsibilities, so we are also looking for someone has the ability to develop people and processes and who possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Manage on-site Construction Activities, ensuring Project Milestones are met.
  • Supervise and Co-Ordinate Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Trades.
  • Manage EHS as per Company and Industry standards.
  • Ensure Quality Control and adherence to Project Specifications.
  • Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Requirements
  • Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Construction Engineer/Senior Engineer/Site Manager/PM.
  • Experience managing housing projects is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines.
  • Project Management qualifications (PMP, Degree, etc.) are a plus.
